Dom Mason is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, song writer, teacher & performer based in Birmingham, England. He has had a passion for music since he was a small boy – when he began singing in choirs & training to sing classically.

His curiosity then led him to begin studying his main instrument -the piano, which he now teaches privately & plays often in recitals. Dom turned his attention to string instruments such as the guitar, ukulele & lately the Cello to further his compositional craft & fulfil his constant ambition of striving to improve his knowledge of different kinds of instruments -He regularly uses synths & glocks in his more recent compositions.

Dom has played in many groups & collaborated with a huge amount of musicians, ranging from church choirs, accompanying solo performers/virtuosi & also with large ensembles. He also plays regular concerts with the band he formed in 2011– Chaos Parade

His compositions have mainly been for solo pianoforte, although his fondness for horn & string sounds have led to a large amount of chamber works too.

More recently however, he has begun work on various side-projects & collaborations which have a far greater sound scape….

Renowned for being creative, his compositions are always emotive & aim to engage with the listener & take them on a journey that they won’t forget.

Whether it’s writing songs for fun, writing songs for his band, or his work as a contemporary composer, one thing is for certain- Dom  is more creative & energetic than ever before.
